Real Purity Skincare Line First Look

for-website

Hey Guys!!

So I am here with quick review & demo of some new products I received from Real Purity.

They offer a wide variety of All Natural products for hair, skin, and makeup. But today I will be focusing only on the skincare line they offer. I received a few products from the line and wanted to share them with you guys.

First up is the Cleansing Facial Gel. With only 5 ingredients, it will restore your skin’s pH balance and leave no oily residue behind. Which I must say is very impressive. For me, this is a very different cleanser for me. Mainly because it did not suds up as most of my other cleansers do (as you will see below), however, my skin felt super clean, so no complaint here.

Now the Daily Facial Scrub is one of my favorites. Mainly because it has one of my favorite natural anti-again & evening skin tone agents in it… GRAPEFRUIT!! Now if you guys have been following me you know I love grapefruit and the effects it has on your skin. And now that I have this scrub it is perfect to add to my current skincare routine. And FYI I only use scrubs when I am going to be makeup, which ends up being about 2-3 times a week. It is a perfect way to remove any dead skin or dry patches so your foundation doesn’t settle into those areas.

After all that cleaning and scrubbing it’s time to tone. The toner I used is the Green Tea Toner. This was my first time trying out a “tea-style” of toner. This formula is meant to restore the natural pH of your skin by controlling oil production. Which I definitely need with my oily combination skin type. I was very impressed with the results of this. My skin felt very smooth and refreshed, and had no excess dirt.

Now to moisturizer is used the Daily Balancing Facial Cream. This one is my absolute FAVORITE out of everything. This moisturizer went on soo smooth. It is formulated for normal to oily skin, that balances oil control with light skin hydration. The finished felt very matte and not oily at all. Personally, I felt it helped with my pores as well, PERFECT for using under foundation.

Lastly, I tried the Papaya Facial Mask. (not shown in video) I choose to use this one because at the time I was having some breaks outs and felt like my skin need a little extra care. Papaya extract acts as a natural exfoliant as it gently dissolves dead skin cells. I left on for 20mintues as recommended. It has kind of a mud mask feel but was very easy to rinse off, leaving my skin feeling super soft. I would only recommend this one if you are going through a breakout, other than that it is not really necessary for regualr use.

I have yet to try the Green Apple Mask or the Acne Soap but I will keep you guys updated as I try those out.

Definitely, check out the video below for the unboxing & Demo to see a few of these products in action.

Shielo Smoothing Anti Aging Scrub Review

Hey Guys!!

I’ve never to so excited about a skincare review…LOL But I am back with another quick review on the Shielo Smoothing Anti Again Scrub. I’ve used a lot of Shielo products over the years, they actually have my favorite moisturizer, which I did A review on back in 2014 (CLICK HERE TO SEE THAT REVIEW).

complexionscrub_2

Not this scrub did not disappoint AT ALL, and to be honest I didn’t expect it to. Shielo has always had great quality products. This anti-aging scrub is a clarifying exfoliant for all skin types (FYI, I have Oily Combination Skin). It has Aloe Vera Juice, which refreshes the skin. It also feature Jojoba Oil whcih contain fatty acid that revitalize skin using microspheres which are small and delicate. This is the main thing I look for in scrubs. I don’t like very large bead because they are too harsh and rough on my skin

This has quickly become my new favorite facial scrub to use before I apply makeup. It makes my skin very smooth and I feel refresh when I use it, which is the perfect condition for my skin when I want to apply makeup.

This Product retails for: $22.99

If you interested in trying this product out make sure you check out the Shielo website.

Sheilo Leave In Protectant Review

HEY GUYS!!

So I am back with anther review from Shielo!!

This time it is on there Leave In Spray Protectant. I’ve actually used this product in the past and just revisited it recently.

Photo Credit: Momma of 2 Review
Photo Credit: Momma of 2 Review

For me this is mainly to protect my a=hair during heat styling. It is a really amazing spray to use when I want a very light and fluffy blow out, and won’t weigh down my hair like creamier products tend to do.

I also like using this spray when I am doing some kind of roller set, where I sit under a hooded dryer. It offers up a nice shine while protecting my strands.

Here are the products claims: This antioxidant rich leave in protectant is designed to fortify every strand of hair, creating texture, as well as protect your hair from the stress of heat styling. Our unique protective complex with pro-vitamins, proteins and amino acids infuse hair with vitamins while providing UV protection. For deeper natural and color-treated hair color. Excellent in controlling frizz and detangling.

Which I must agree it does fully live up to their claims.

If you are looking for other uses for this products besides heat styling, I would recommend spray on your hair before going out in the summer to protect your hair from the UV rays, especially if you have color treated hair.

If you interested in trying this product out make sure you check out the Shielo website.

Citrus Clear Review

image

Hey guys!! I am back with another review for the Citrus Clear Line. I’ve reviewed their products before, so it is a brand I am VERY familiar with the line. So let me jut jump right into the review.

I am going to start with the Natural Tahitian Lime Sensitive Wash. I used this was before in the past, and I LOVE it. the smell is so potent but in a good way. The lime scent is so divine. I like How my skin feels very smooth but not stripped.

The next item is the Grapefruit Acne Spot Treatment. Now I know grapefruit is rich with antioxidants and vitamins, so was very excited to try this out. Now I don’t frequent breakouts, but when I do I like to have a spot treatment on hand. This one is actually really nice. It dries up my pimples really fast which makes it a lot quicker for them to go away.

The Tangerine Tingle is a 2 for 1. You can either use it as an exfoliating cleanser or as a mask. I used it both ways. As a cleanser, its great, it is  exfoliating so it is stripping, but it is expected. As a mask, it wasn’t ok. It is more of a hydrating mask if you do it while you are in the shower, so it really helps open up you pores and get deep into the skin. Did I forget to mention the smell?? Well, it is bomb.com! Out of everything this one smells THE BEST!

Now I love a good mask and the Pore & Blackhead Extracting Mask is EVERYTHING! This is a DEEP mask, so I would not recommend doing it the day or week of a special event or wedding, because this literally pushes everything that is deep in the skin to the surface. So I will caution you on that part. The smell isn’t amazing, but it performs as it says.

Lastly is the Pink Grapefruit Sensitive Moisturizer. I have been enjoying this one. It is very lightweight so it is great under makeup. Even though it is lightweight it’s still moisturizing. Grapefruit is also high in Vitamin C and has anti-aging properties so it has amazing benefits as well.

Overall, Citrus Clear has yet to disappoint and this review is no different. The products are great and the price point comparable to other lines. Their line is free from harsh chemicals. Please make sure to check out Citrus Clear for some amazing natural skin care products .
