What do you collect?
Ok, so most of you know I am a Freelance Makeup Artist. So you guys would assume I have an extensive amount of makeup, which I do, BUT, out of all the makeup I have, I collect Makeup BRUSHES the most. I can’t get enough! LOL. the picture below isn’t even half of what I have and those are only the ones I keep on my vanity…Don’t Judge me…LOL
What food & drink can you live off of for the rest of you life?
I can honestly live off of shrimp and bake mac & cheese, as long as I had ample supply of it!! I love sea food in general but shrimp is just simple and quick!! Mac & Cheese is just the ultimate comfort food for me!
As far as a drink goes, I could do water. I actually like to drink water, I don’t just drink because I HAVE to, but that’s too easy, so I’m going to go with an Uptown. For those who don’t know what an uptown is, it is half lemonade, half ice team. I love it homemade, but I also like the Lemonade Ice Tea by Gold Peak and the Half and Half by Turkey Hill SunBrew.

Do you want to have kids in the future?
HA! The question everyone seems to ask a woman once she’s reached a certain age. In the past my answer would’ve been an automatic NO! Not saying that now it is an automatic Yes, but I am not totally against it. HOWEVER, it is not a priority in my life. If I have them I have them, If I don’t I don’t. PERIOD! People always assume that every woman wants kids and a big family, but honestly that’s just not the case. Also as a woman dating someone who already has a kid; it takes the pressure off of me having kids off of me, meaning I don’t feel obligated to have any. Actually him having one, honestly makes me glad that I haven’t had any. Also the desire just isn’t there for me right now. Like AT ALL…LOL…Maybe it will change in the future, maybe it won’t, but right now, it’s not an option or priority. One thing I do know, if I do decide to have a kid(s) I will know it was because I wanted a baby, was trying to have a baby, and it won’t be something that just happened.
One of your favorite shows
OK, so if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram then you all now I LOVE Criminal Minds!! The original Criminal Minds, not that Suspect Behavior spin-off. I don’t even know how I got turned on to the show; I think it was by accident. I can watch re-runs of this all day, literally. I always like Crime Shows, but this one is just so dynamic and intense.

Where do you stand with religion?
That pretty much sums it up!!! But honestly, I’m not a very religious person at all. Now, it’s not that I don’t believe in a higher power, but I don’t feel the need to define myself by a book of rules or pray to anyone to know the difference between right or wrong. For me, If you do right, good things happen; if you do wrong, bad things happen. I find religion to be as a scapegoat for some people. If something good happens, it’s a miracle, if something bad, happens blame the “Devil”. Not everything needs a reason, sometimes shit just happens. Why can’t people just say I fucked up, when they fuck up?
Most of my experiences with religion have been with people who are hypocritical, also very judgmental because you don’t believe or do what they believe and TRY and make you feel guilty. Now granted I could probably just claim a religion and follow it to a T just to show it can be done, but my question is WHY??? WHY do I need to define myself or associate myself with a religion? Why can’t I just live my life as I see fit without people trying to justify my successes/failures? I personally believe everyone has a right to believe (or not believe) in what they want and without judgment from others about it. I personally don’t care what your views are or what your believe, It plays no role in whether I like you or respect you.
What’s in your hand bag?
So yea my handbag is pretty organized. I have everything separated in little compartments. It jut makes it easier to find things for me. I have few business cards mints and pill box in one small bag. I have my headphones for my cell phone in another compartment, there’s usually two off them in there…for whatever reason…LOL The big square one is actually an awesome wallet I found at TJMaxx. LOVE IT!!! My cosmetic bag only has lotion, hand sanitizer and lip butter/lip conditioner (which I swap up on everyday depending on which one I am in the mood for. I also carry a little notebook, to jot down things. I actually jot down a lot of things in there for my blog. Sometimes I am out and think of topics so I write it sown so I don’t forget. Lastly I keep an actual business card holder to carry more business cards with me. As you can see I keep those in numerous places.
Your current relationship status; if single discuss how single life is. If you are in a relationship, post a picture of you & your significant other and how you met.
I am happily in a relationship, most of you already know his name is Fernando.
So we met back in 2004 at college. We actually never dated during that time AT ALL we were just good friends. Once we both left the college, we stayed in contact and stayed friends. Now fast forward 6 years, in 2010, I was seeing this guy who played football (not a boyfriend or anything just someone I was seeing casually) and it turned out that Fernando’s was on a team that was playing against the guy’s team. (Coincidence or Fate?? LOL) So after the game I hung back to say “bye” to Fernando and catch up a bit. He invited me to come to one of their home games the following Saturday, which I said I would go.
For some reason after I drove off I found myself attracted to him in a way I never considered. Not that I never found him attractive physically, but I guess it never crossed my mind to date him, I guess since we automatically kept ourselves in the friend zone and never crossed that line or even hinted/flirted for anything else. Apparently he felt the same b/c after that Saturday game he asked me out. I wasn’t even looking for a relationship but we click instantly, without any pressure and without even trying (just like our friendship), and here we are almost 3 years later creating our own memories and talking about a future.
Somewhere you would like to visit…
I have a long list of places I would like to visit, but I stick to one for this blog for the sake of not making this blog too long.
YES!! I’ve always wanted to visit AFRICA!!! Purely to experience the culture. I feel like visiting a place like Africa will humble you so much and a new appreciation for the country itself. I know I woman who visits every year and she loves it. I would love to go at least once in my lifetime. The music, the heritage, the wildlife…just an experience.
